Follow the Caribou Trail (Highway 480) off the Trans Canada Highway and drive two hours to Burgeo to catch the car ferry to Ramea. Free whale & dolphin watching included from the deck (sometimes).

Ferry Info

The ferry leaves from Burgeo and makes stops at Ramea and Grey River. The ferry operates year-round, going between a Summer and Winter schedule. The ferry, the MV Gallipoli holds 20 automobiles and 100 passengers on a first-come-first-served basis.

Crossing Times

Burgeo to Ramea : 1 hour 15 minutes (22 km)
Ramea to Grey River: 1 hour 20 minutes (26 km)
Burgeo to Grey River via Ramea: 3 hours (41 km)
